Since our founding, we have long excelled in the manufacture of flocky sheets used for optical applications, as well as the punching and processing of anti-reflective sheets, light-shielding sheets, double-sided tapes, sponges, rubber, and other functional materials, and in recent years we have responded to customer requests in a wide range of fields including automotive-related applications.
Electrostatic flocking
(flock coating)
Electrostatic flocky is a technology that uses static electricity to fix cut fibers to adhesive-coated base materials such as film, paper, cloth, rubber, and molded products. Vel-Suede's electrostatic flocking process can be applied directly from the sheet material to the molded product. These products are widely used in optical equipment, cosmetics, and decorative products.
Rubber surface coating for slip
Various types of Rubber surfaces are coated with Vel-Suede's proprietary special treatment to provide sliding properties to the surface.
